Easter Weekend lowdown
We had a fun-filled, memory making Easter Weekend. I love playing Easter Bunny and seeing the kids having so much fun finding eggs and seeing their baskets. We decided the Easter Bunny would come on Saturday this year and probably every year from now on. It was more relaxed and fun and didn't take from the real focus of Easter Sunday. The kids found their baskets and looked for eggs at home. Marco was so excited every time he found an egg he would yell, "Yeah!" Then we went to the Carmichael Park Easter Egg Hunt. There were hundreds of people there and the whole thing was over in 2 minutes. Lucia was sulking because I brought her bucket instead of Easter basket and so she didn't get anything. Marco had fun though and ate plenty of candy. He was scared of the Easter Bunny. He was kind of weird looking!
Sunday was more relaxed and we were able to get ready for church without the rush. The kids looked so cute in their yellow Easter outfits-they got many compliments at church.
After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa's where they got yet another Easter basket and more Easter egg hunts (Uncle B loves to hide eggs). All the kids got cute new outfits that they quickly changed into. We had a yummy turkey dinner and then outside for another egg hunt! I think they're all egg hunted out for now. It was a lot of fun. As we left, Mom said, "Who know where everyone will be next year." Well, we know Callie and Brian will be in Arizona, Tami and Dan will be in Utah, but us??? Who knows??? Hope you all had a good Easter!
